Now we're talkin'...Flats could rise again

Much of Cleveland's cool riverfront area died a slow and ignominious death some years ago, and a treasure of a geographic feature has been a-wastin' since then. While the Warehouse District is great, it doesn't take any advantage of this delightful constellation of twisting riverbends, towering salt/sand/rock piles, massive chugging ocean-going vehicles, and miles of banks happy to host the handsome yachts and boats of the region's water-lovers.

It's good to hear that Wolstein developers are bringing the City a proposal to cut down the garage/warehouse/junk buildings cluttering up Old River Road and replace them with cool new stuff, including a public park and walkway. It would be pretty nuts if the multiple owners of the various parcels can't get their act together and agree to polish up this gem again.
