SEO in NEO

What's going on in Northeast Ohio? I hear tell that Jan Limpach, of Keyphrase-Marketing, is presenting to the October monthly meeting of IPG Cleveland (Independent Practitioners Group) and showing the PR professionals what search engine optimization can do for their websites. It ought to be a good one--it's never dull with Jan presenting. Mark your calendars October 11 at Mitchell's Fish Market (unless we get SO many responses we have to move it to a bigger venue).

Also heard that Emergent Marketing got picked by the Marriott New Orleans to do its SEO. Congrats. This town's a hotbed of great SEOers.

Entrepreneurs, if you don't yet understand what search engine optimization can do for you, think about this: What if everyone who searched for your industry on the Internet found your company on the first page? It'd be like having them look up plumbing in the Yellow Pages and finding your company, "AAA-Plumbing by Jones" the first one in the listing--but even more powerful because then they can click right to your powerfully branded, well-written site (need help on that? email me) and learn as much as they want to about you--without having to take the dreaded step of picking up the phone if they don't want to.

So, guys, if your website isn't where you want it to be, let's talk. It's never too early to start getting leads from the Internet!
