What hath blogging wrought?

Well, okay, maybe it's not just blogging, but the Internet is having a profound effect on news and other publications. Because so many of us have turned to the web for our news, our product research, our entertainment, our seeking/buying/trading behaviors, and our communications with friends, family and business associates, the role of print is changing. Advertisers are reading the numbers and taking their dollars to search, pay-per-click, banners and other paid media to create awareness and to make sales.

Our own Plain Dealer's revenues must be suffering from this phenomenon (see the Crain's article on buying out 50+plus employees). The message to entrepreneurs is this: Today, your website IS your business. Don't ignore it. Don't shortchange it. Don't cheap out on it. And DO keep it fresh with a corporate blog. Read about how to write one here.

P.S. I'll be glad to help... " )

I totally agree with you. I am on the computer a lot and so that is where I learn most of the news, so it is definitely helpful when people write accurately.
